The English Dept. was founded in 2005 to create a rare experience for a special customer. Combining the intimacy of a boutique with the spontaneity and energy of a design studio, we emphasize beautiful design and fine fabrics, and specialize in unique handmade pieces, many of which are available only here. Our smart, modern dresses are brilliant for weddings or any special event.
In addition to our featured designers, English Dept. owner Elizabeth Dye designs her own collection of one of a kind wedding gowns each season, and is also available for custom design. You can view selections from her portfolio here.
